Spearheaded by industry veterans, our forward-looking leadership is made up of focused and experienced professionals dedicated to improving the borrower experience for all loan servicers.
Steve holds 20 years of executive level experience in banking, mortgage servicing and related businesses. Before joining Universal Component Lender Services, Inc., he was SVP, of Loan Administration for Marix Servicing LLC where he built, from the ground up, a high-touch mortgage servicing platform. Steve also held the position of SVP at JPMorgan Chase, where he managed Default Servicing for the mortgage, sub-prime, home equity and manufactured housing lines of business. Throughout his career in the mortgage industry, he has worked effectively with executives at HUD, FNMA and FHLMC, and was also the Managing Member at HBBH LLC (Helping Borrowers Become Homeowners) where he provided clients with direction and support for various mortgage related activities including Borrower Outreach, Loss mitigation, NPA acquisition and Asset Disposition. Furthermore, Steve is the founder of Distinguished Mortgage Services LLC which completes property inspections, maintenance, and repairs for the mortgage servicing industry. Steve graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a Concentration in Finance, from California State University, Sacramento.
After graduating with an MBA in Finance and Real Estate from the University of Connecticut, Pete began his career in the mortgage business working for Nationstar Mortgage in Dallas, TX. Since those humble beginnings, he has had a wide range of roles in Originations, Servicing, Sales, Operations, Finance, Risk, and Compliance. Before being invited to help build Universal Component Lender Services, Inc., Pete was directing strategy and new business initiatives at Fay Financial and helped The Money Source Inc. manage their growing subservicing client base. He has a process-driven approach to loan servicing that guides Universal Component Lender Services, Inc.’s processes, procedures, and the management of technology, marketing, new business, and customer service units.
Earl has over ten years of experience in mortgage servicing compliance and mortgage servicing legal operations. Prior to joining Universal Component Lender Services, Inc., he served as VP, Servicing Legal and Compliance, at The Money Source Inc., where he helped the company build its mortgage servicing platform, including standing up the first line of defense. Earl prides himself on being a problem solver, and in the weeds helping drive compliance while maintaining efficiency. Earl holds a Juris Doctorate from Quinnipiac University, graduating with honors, and an undergraduate degree in Mathematics from the University of Connecticut.
